In this era of never ending technical revolution, market requirements are in a state of continuous change causing a torrent of activity for subsequent generations. Since its establishment in 1973, Moritex has steadily expanded and grown by providing various products developed through carefully reading and reacting to the markets' messages, trends and information and listed its stock market of JASDAQ in 1997. Moritex entered the 1st section of Tokyo Stock Exchange in December, 2000.

Telecentric Lenses (MMLs)

SOD-10X
As a result of the increasing need for telecentric lenses with higher & higher magnification, Moritex has developed a new MML lens, the SOD-10X.

SOD stands for 'super optical device' and the 10X of course refers to the lens' magnification. Just like the Mega series of MMLs, the SOD-10X has a high NA (0.23) and high resolution (1.5um), but has a slightly smaller working distance of 55mm. Also newly developed are two rear converterlenses, SOD-1.5X & SOD-2X. These rear converter lenses are similar to the ML-Z2X, but slight improvements have been made.

Mega MML Series
Mega MML Series lenses are small, telecentric, and coaxial. The products were developed to accurately inspect components and patterns that are becoming smaller and smaller. Former MMLs (primarily used for alignment) were designed prioritizing operational functions such as small size, long working distance, and depth of field. Moritex's Mega MMLs (used primarily for inspection) were designed for precision inspections with a priority on resolution. High contrast image recognition is possible during eye inspection and image processing.

FEATURES
- High numerical aperture for mega pixel CCDs
- Telecentric optical design
- Amazing brightness
- Less depth
- All lenses have a uniform coaxial illumination system

Fixed Magnification MMLs
Our Micro Machine Lens (MML) Series models are high-performatnce telecentric fixed magnification lenses for designed for alignment. They are small with a variety of working distances suitable for mounting on equipment and meet required optical performance conditions for alignment.

FEATURES
- Object side telecentric optical design
- Most come both with or without a uniform coaxial illumination that covers the entire view
- Small lenses with a variety of working distances for mounting on equipment

Fixed Mag. MML-CM1/CS1 Series
This line of lenses are telecentric lenses of the same quality as our standard C-Mount MMLs, except here the lenses are offered with CM1 and CS1mounts. They are thin, space-saving, and light-weight so they can be mounted on micro-head cameras. MML-CM1 Series models are mounted on 17mm (M15.5 x 0.5) and MML-CS1 Series models are mounted on 12mm (M10.5 x 0.5).

MML Zoom Lens Series
Moritex's MML Zoom Lens Series are high performance lenses with integrated coaxial episcopic illumination designed based on telecentric optics. Multiple zooming, long working distance, and the integrated episcopic illumination sytstem that covers the entire view allow for recognition of all types of objects. Manual systems and electric zoom type systems with a stepping motor are available.

Non-Telecentric Macro Lenses

Non-Telecentric Macro Lenses
The ML-N series lenses were developed to be compact, high performance lenses. Based on many years of experience producing machine micro lenses, Moritex adopted a non-telecentric optical system as the lens design for this model. By limiting the number of lenses in each layer to less than three, we have succeeded to develop a high performance model at a reasonable price. Magnification and working distances can be tailored to your needs by using optional close-up rings.

The high resolution and low TV distortion of these lenses make them suitable for inspection and recognition in micro field applications such as shape recognition by a picture sensor, food labeling inspection, confirmation of defects, and security systems.

Low Magnification Macro Lenses
Moritex offers small, high-resolution macro lenses to be mounted on various machines for inspection. These lenses all have a working distance of 90mm.
