Vision Appliances are embedded machine vision solutions that have been designed to satisfy your current and future inspection needs. They provide the ease-of-use, performance and flexibility required to meet the diverse requirements of industrial applications, while accommodating the needs and experience of end users.

Vision Appliances are available in a range of cost-effective models to satisfy a broad variety of user requirements. These include single 640x480 standard camera configurations to high-performance multi-camera models with 1600x1200 color resolution. In addition, Vision Appliances support DALSA line scan technology to address challenging large format or cylindrical unwrapping applications.

Vision Appliances provide powerful and quick-to-deploy solutions for automated quality inspection. Available with standard (iNspect) or advanced (Sherlock) application software, these products have been carefully designed to address the needs of a wide range of industries such as Automotive, Consumer, Electronics, Packaging, Pharamceutical and more.

The standard iNspect software provides capabilities for positioning, identification, verification, measuring and flaw detection. Included with iNspect is iLabel, an application designed specifically for the packaging industry that is used for verifying the placement and quality of labels on packaged goods.

iNspect

iNspect is a breakthrough machine vision inspection tool designed for a broad range of applications, from precision metrology to pharmaceutical packaging. Wrapped within an easy-to-use user interface, iNspect provides a suite of tools that can be readily applied to a multitude of inspection tasks, such as positioning, measuring, identification and flaw detection.

iNspect's straightforward 5-step setup allows users to quickly configure and deploy an application. Each of the inspection tools have been carefully designed to extract the relevant information from the object image. No programming or extensive training is required!

The heart of our Vision Appliance hardware, iNspect is also offered as a standalone software package for deployment with an industrial PC and IEEE 1394 cameras. Included with the software is iLabel, an application designed specifically for the Packaging industry that is used to verify the placement and quality of labels on packaged goods.

Netsight II

Based on our Vision Appliance VA4X and VA5X hardware, NetSight II platforms offer OEMs and machine vision integrators with a choice of prepackaged, compact industrial systems that combine powerful processing, choice of camera and flexible interfacing options.

NetSight II is available as a compact vision solution with Sherlock software, cameras and peripherals or as a hardware platform for 3rd party development. Contact your local ipd sales representative for details.

Our NetSight II platforms are offered in the following configurations:

- NetSight II MCA (Multi-Channel Analog): Designed for high-speed applications requiring 640x480 to 1600x1200 format analog cameras.

- NetSight II DCL (Dual Channel Camera Link): Supports image acquisition from standard Camera Link line and area scan cameras

The above platforms are also available in turbocharged versions that can deliver up to 3 times the overall performance. These systems additionally include support for IEE1394 and GigE cameras.
