Millennium Sensor has developed a highly portable security sensor platform that is designed to provide rapidly deployed temporary ranging from thebattlefield to domestic public spaces. The P3 MRSS™ is already in use in such environments around the world. Millennium's patented "next-generation" solutions address the immediate, critical unmet needs for warfighters, law enforcement, tactical first responders, and corporate/executive security providers. This unmet need was underscored by the US Army in November 2001, when it solicited existing, near-term, and future technology capable of increasing warfighters' lethality and survivability without relying on remote, complex communications systems. Other DOD agencies, including the US Air Force, continue to recognize the need for technologies such as the MRSS™.

Since 1991, Millennium has been active in developing security technologies for personal/asset protection and force multiplication applications. The Company began to develop this platform technology with the encouragement and cooperation of the United States Marine Corps War Fighting Laboratory and other federal and private consultants. This platform was developed not around a single product, but a scalable concept of mobile remote sensing.

The P3 Mobile Remote Sensor System™ (MRSS-EX) is a ruggedized aluminum extrusion system designed to provide real-time tactical remote sensor information to individual warfighters in a broad range of operating areas. The MRSS-EX suite of sensors operates under Millenium Sensors's P3 Technology Concept (Personnel-Centric Peripheral Protection). The MRSS-EX is designed for extreme rapid deployment. The sensors are manportable, hand-placed, and can be operated in coordination with or in absence of other communications or security systems. A system can be deployed or redeployed in minutes to support high-speed advance or rapidly changing environments. The MRSS-EX improves situational awarness for small units ot individual wasfighters. The MRSS-EX System is small, light, extremely simple to deploy and use, and is suitable for a wide array of missions.
