Stereo Microscopes

The SMZ-140 line is the most versatile stereomicroscope
manufactured by Motic. The list of applications may seem only a
few, but each day presents another opportunity to incorporate this
fantastic microscope into one's system. The basic model is a zoom
stereomicroscope system with a zoom ratio of 4 : 1 and a working
distance of 80 mm based upon the Greenough optical system. The Greenough
optical system displays crisp, stereoscopic images while having
the ruggedness to handle harsh environments of the laboratory or
machines.

Employing a Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system, the K400 produces flat, crisp, and true colour representations for the user over a long and continuous period. The CMO system benefits the user with the potential of accessory addition without sacrificing optical quality, which makes the K400 suitable for inspection applications.
K400 Data Sheet (17.6MB-PDF file)

The K401 expands on the benefits of a Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system by integrating a Plan Achromat objective to further reveil information within the field of view. Images on the edge of the field of view appear flat instead of curved, as in other systems, which makes the K401 ideal for inspection and photomicrography.
K400 Data Sheet (17.6MB-PDF file)

The K500 utilises a 5-step magnification changer with industry standard stops at 0.64X, 1.0X, 1.6X, 2.5X, and 4.0X for convenience in converting from existing systems for inspection and observation applications. The system can be converted from a simple optical inspection/observation system into a documentation and analysis station with the attachment of the 1500.3 Video/Photomicrography optical bridge and the user's choice of documentation [photomicrography or digital]. Employing a comfortable viewing observation angle of 45°, the K500's ergonomic layout is further complemented by the side location of the step magnification changer for rapid magnification changes. Moreover, the guaranteed parfocality of throughout the system combined with the size of the K500 makes the decision to switch over to a CMO system hassle-free.
K400 Data Sheet (17.6MB-PDF file)

Equipped standard with the user friendly function of zoom, the K700 offers the convenience of 5.2:1 zoom ratio with the optical clarity of the Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system. The combination of the K700"s optical zoom with its variety of accessories expands the system into different fields based upon the user"s selection. The system can be expanded up to a maximum magnification of 198X or a maximum field of view of 127.8mm, all dependent on your need.

The SFC-11 is the ideal stereomicroscope for both educational and industrial applications. Inclined at 45°, usage of the SFC-11 stereomicroscope is comfortable and fatigue free. Available in three turret magnification combinations [1X,2X; 1X,3X; and 2X,4X], thus providing a choice on magnification needed for the application. The standard working distance of 95mm is sufficient for majority of applications without the need for addition of auxiliary objectives.

The SMZ-168 Series of stereomicroscopes incorporates a zoom ratio of 6.7 : 1, one of the industry's largest, with a standard working distance of 113mm inside a Greenough optical stereo system. Moreover, the standard system provides a maximum magnification of 50X [with standard 10X eyepieces] and guaranteed parfocality throughout the magnifications.

Compound Microscopes

The DM-52 is fully portable thanks to its rechargeable LED illumination combined with a dimming on/off switch. This allows the unit to be easily carried from classroom to classroom and even outside and you don't have to be tied-down by electrical outlet positions. When plugged into a computer through a simple USB connection, the DM-52 turns into an amazing Digital Microscopy station. When using higher magnifications, the built-in “floating” stage will allow you to move the sample smoothly under the objective.

When people think about microscopy in schools, they often think about prepared slides, staining and high-powered magnifications. With a normal compound microscope, you can not look at macro objects such as Bugs, Minerals, Cloth, etc. This is where the DS-2 comes in.

The AE20/21 is a fantastic inverted microscope and is not a stripped down version of its more powerful brother, AE30/31. The AE20/21 is an inverted microscope equipped with the functions typically used by routine clinical preparation, instead of saddling the user with unused accessories and a heavy financial burden.
AE20/21 Data Sheet (1.3MB-PDF
file)

The AE30/31 is an inverted microscope for the routine realm, but offers upscale research functions, such as fluorescence and an externally mounted and centrable 30W/6V halogen Koehler illumination. Complementing the uniform illumination is the ELWD 0.30 N.A. condenser with its 72mm working distance for large sample and carriers, which can be adjusted and centered to provide the optimum amount of illumination for each sample. Furthermore, the condenser is equipped with a slider stop for the equipped standard centrable PH 1 and PH 3 Phase slider. An optional LWD 0.50 N.A. condenser [WD=28mm] is available should the need arise.

Clinical Microscopes

The BA200, at its core, is an adaptable microscope designed to fulfill the needs of educators and trainers, however the microscope with certain accessories can be expanded to meet other fields' requirements. The basic format of the microscope is a combination of the Colour Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®] in both the internal optics and the EF Plan objectives within an attractive stable microscope body that produces crisp and flat images up to a field flatness of F.N. 18.
BA200 Data Sheet (3.7MB-PDF file)

Employed with the Colour Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®] throughout its internal system and EF Plan objectives, the BA300 produces imaging that is crisp, flat, and distortion-free with high contrast up to a field flatness of F.N.20. Furthermore, the BA300, should the need arise, can be used in conjunction with the CCIS® Plan Achromat objectives for further image clarity.
BA300 Data Sheet (2.2MB-PDF
file)

The standard BA400 is equipped with the ergonomic friendly observation angle of 30° with the Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment system [55-75mm] to accommodate the differences in users. Though standard at 30°, the user has a choice of what kind of head, binocular, trinocular [20/80], and trinocular [0/100], for the BA400, thus modularity from the beginning. Adding function and comfort, the adjustable, high eyepoint eyepieces of the BA400 allow the user to adjust for astigmatism [±5°] while aligning a reticule without having to paste their eyes on the eyepieces.
